World's shortest IQ Test [Test your IQ now]

Referred to as the Cognitive Reflection Test, this quiz has been around for a while and was originally featured in a research paper published in 2005 by MIT professor Shane Frederick. Recently, the paper has resurfaced online, generating significant interest among those eager to take on the challenge. In Professor Frederick's study, over 3,000 participants with diverse educational backgrounds were asked to complete the test. Even individuals attending esteemed American universities like Yale and Harvard encountered difficulty in solving all of the questions.

A bat and a ball cost $1.10 in total. The bat costs $1 more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?

Question 2
If it takes five machines five minutes to make five widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets?

Question 3
In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake?
